Our coaches all share the same goals:

1. Every person in class understands the workout, what equipment is needed, where that equipment is located, and how to do all the movements in the workout safely.
2. Every person in class is using the correct weight for them, proper technique, and is doing their own best variation of the workout to get everyone closer to their individual goals.
3. Every person is having fun: Great people, good music, and mediocre jokes!

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter.

CrossFit is designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts include "functional movements" that translate into real life activities that will help you kick ass into your 90's! A perfect example of one of these movements is the burpee. Let's be real, burpees are hard, but they allow us to make sure we can get up off the ground if we fall...a VITAL ability as we get older.

All of our CrossFit Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A guided warm-up with stretching, movement instruction and demonstration, a practice round to get a feel for things, a bathroom/water break, and a workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.
