This is a strength-biased class that does finish with a short, intense WOD to improve overall fitness.

Each class, our Bigs do 2 lifts (3 sets of 5 reps/lift) in a very controlled, coach-led format. After we lift, we do 3 sets of 3, 4, or 5 strict pull-ups (most of our Kids use some combination of bands to make this movement more appropriate for their skill level). We wrap up our training session with a 5-10 minute WOD that usually involves things like running/shuttle sprints, cycling, box jumps, burpees, sandbags, med. ball slams, etc. 

Finally, we close off our class with a talk about our 5 Factors of Health (Eat, Sleep, Train, Think & Connect). Each of these talks align with our weekly newsletter that each Kid receives a hard copy of after class. Every Kid’s family also receives a weekly email (including a digital copy of this newsletter) explaining what’s happening in class that particular week.

We have begun a relationship with local towns & schools looking to get athletic teams in to train together both in & off season. Events include all-team training, “Sports Battles” (think Football Vs. Hockey teams), etc. Reach out to us if you have a team that might be interested in getting involved in this!
